GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY AND FUNCTION:

  • Report directly to the NA Sales Manager, develop and drive relationships with US Drilling Contractors and Well-Service / Workover and rental companies in the South Texas region to grow Freudenberg’s market share within the territory.
  • Proactively sell Pressure Control Products on a daily basis
  • Identify leads and opportunities for business development activity and ensure the product portfolio is promoted effectively to the customers.
  • Identify new product and service opportunities and submit to NA Sales Manager for business review and consideration.
  • Manage local inventory requirements.
  • Provide monthly reporting and communicate customer issues and opportunities back to the NA Sales Manager

JOB DUTIES:

  • Set and achieve agreed sales targets and objectives from the Sales Incentive Program
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base while also bringing new customers onboard.
  • Proactively report marketplace dynamics including market trends, competitor intelligence etc.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and invoicing records of customers.
  • Act as primary contact to customers within the South Texas region to manage business needs.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE JOB:

  • Must be able to confidently present the global company’s products and solutions
  • Travel to other Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies facilities, customers and suppliers is sometimes required.
  • Ability to utilize effective communication skills and planning techniques.
  • Able to travel overnight to support territory requirements.
  • Live with in Eagleford shale region of South Texas

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 – 5 years of sales experience preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Degree qualified in a technical discipline or relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Microsoft suite of software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,211.93 - $145,824.24 per year
